Based out of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Thunderstone Pictures is a film production company that has won numerous awards for outstanding filmmaking. I had previously developed a website for Thunderstone Pictures, but as it grew as a company, so did its need for a more robust CMS-driven website.
The site is built using Wordpress which fulfills Thunderstone's need for a portfolio manager, a content manager and a blogging platform.

Steve Baker is one of the best tattoo artists I've ever seen. The incredible work featured in his jaw-dropping portfolio speaks for itself. With that in mind, Steve needed a way to bring his portfolio to the web to showcase to prospective clients and generate buzz about his new business venture.
I designed and built Steve's site using HTML, CSS and Flash. The main core of the site uses a flash gallery viewer that makes the portfolio come to life in exciting and dynamic ways.

Medicine Wheel Spirit Singers are an Anishnabe drumming group from the Thunder Bay area. They contacted me looking for a website that was easy to maintain so that they could showcase their photos and music.
The site is Wordpress enabled, which not only allows the singers to easily manage all of their content online, but it also allows them to keep their fans up to date from their blog.

I was contracted by MCI to give the organization an online presence and enhance their image. The site was built using HTML and CSS.

Cupcakes of Westdale Village, Hamilton’s first bakery devoted strictly to cupcakes, offers a variety of gourmet cupcakes for all occasions.
After approaching the owner of Cupcakes, I learned she didn't yet have a website. We discussed her need of one and quickly I was contracted to make it for her. The site is a straightforward "brochure" site that showcases the store. It was built using HTML and CSS.

Dead Celebrity is a rock band that has become well established in the greater Toronto area. The band is very serious about self promotion, hoping one day to get a professional record deal.
This is the newest site design and implementation for Dead Celebrity. While the old flash site received lots of praise and gained the band industry attention, it was too cumbersome to update, making it seem as though they weren't up to anything recent. This implementation uses PHP and MySQL for dynamic database-driven content, updated through a front end content management system. The design also features a one-page load which allows for seamless streaming mp3 playback.

Sawmill Creek Wine came up with a summer '06 marketing campaign called "Carpe Weekendum". They needed an interactive micro site developed for the online portion of the campaign.
This site was vendored by GJP Advertising. The design for the site was already complete, but it needed to be built in Flash and HTML. I was contracted for the job.

Tier1Backup needed a design that quickly and effectively conveyed their message with the added requirement that it be easy to update. The site was built using CSS and PHP.

NetworxHosting is my former employer. They are a web hosting and design firm based out of Hamilton, Ontario.
I developed this site on a contract for Networx Internet & Networking Solutions. As a web host, Networx needed to keep their design text-heavy for SEO purposes, but also needed it to be aesthetically pleasing to help sell their services and put them ahead of their comptetitors. This site was designed by me and heavily employs xHTML, CSS and PHP.

Speakers Gold is a Canadian speakers bureau. They represent over 100 professional speakers that travel the world to speak at small and large events alike.
I developed this site while working for Networx Internet & Networking Solutions. The old Speakers Gold website was functional, but cumbersome and difficult to keep up to date. The owner wanted a design that was not only easy to navigate but also one that popped off the screen. The new design is full of vibrant colours and is much more modular and easy to manage. It also provides users with a much-needed and easy-to-use speaker and topic browsing system. I designed and built this site using HTML, CSS, PHP and Flash.
